For those of you who have known me for a long time or even a short while, I am writing to announce that I am expanding my long-held love of art, interior design and architecture to include the broad and exciting arena of real estate. During my 15+ years in the art business – as a fine art dealer as well as gallery owner – I have been concerned not only with the aesthetics of art itself but also with the importance of the context and the space that would hold the art. After talking at length with my clients in order to gain an understanding of what they needed and wanted, I often would visit their homes to see how the art would fit in a particular space or how it would interact with its surroundings. In other words, it was about finding the right art for the home, and it was about finding the right home for the art.
Naturally, my vision and passion for art, design and architecture applies to real estate and the art of fine living. It is about finding the right home for the person and the right person for the home.
Although I no longer have a bricks and mortar art gallery, this web space is a logical progression in my use of technology for the display and sale of fine art as well as fine living spaces. On a regular basis, I will be posting articles, comments and information on art, real estate and fine living.
So stay tuned and stay in touch!

Dearest, even as gold is not simply a precious metal, but in essence, a given manifestation of the cyclic swirl of matter and energy, much of beauty is contingent on the forms substances take, on the transfiguration of the commonplace, for all is linked. Ultimately art is not what we see, but what’s framed; and residences, thoses estates called real, are really states of the incomensurably irreal, ambiances where we both replenish our mortal bodies and spark our divine souls. Joining enterprises of aesthetics and architecture is cave art at its glitterati best. I am sure you will find the right fit for those ancient Lascaux frescoes that still echo in our contemporary sensibilities. Wishing you the best, carlos.
